On the 23rd March 2020, the UK issued a national lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. This saw the closure of restaurants, shops and cafes. For some this was a catastrophe, with small businesses in particular not surviving financial crash. 'At The Parkside' is a zine created in the winter of 2020/2021. Inspired by the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on small businesses, it highlights the charm and importance of the everyday London caff.
